Case Studies
Yen So Pumping Station, Vietnam
One of those projects was the Yen So Pumping station delivered by Nippon Koei. The Pumping Station was designed with storage reservoir capacity 2,400,000 m3 and a pumping volume of 90 m3/second along a system of canals and lakes, with a rain intensity design of 310mm/2 days for the whole system and 70 mm/hour for the sewer system. The project involved river improvement, flood way and sewage construction along 31.8km.
Our client Transportation and Urban Public Works Project Management board secured funding via the Japanese Official Development Assistance programme. The project took eight years to complete at the total construction cost of US$ 215 million.
